Ahmed, Son of Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra, Reassures Everyone about His Father's Health with an Old Picture

Ahmed, the son of the star Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra, reassured the public about his father's health by sharing an old picture of him celebrating his birthday on his Facebook account.

He captioned the picture, saying: "My beloved dad, may God keep you with us and grant you a long life. Your presence in this world gives us the energy for life. Every year, and you are with us."

Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra graduated from the Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1958 after obtaining his bachelor's degree. He worked as a clerk before being appointed as an actor at the National Theater in 1959. His first theatrical work was "Return of Youth" by the great writer Tawfiq al-Hakim.

He became a hero in the theater when he was chosen to star in the play "Beginning and End" by the renowned writer Naguib Mahfouz after the original lead, Omar El-Hariri, apologized due to personal circumstances. After that, he starred in the play "Al-Mahrousah" after the death of its original lead, Salah Serhan. He continued working in the theater, eventually starring in over 100 plays.

Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra ventured into the world of cinema and drama, participating in many works. In cinema, he appeared in films such as "A Woman's Confessions," "The Choice," "Back Streets," "The Last Papa Knows," "Two Women," "The Wild One," "Matwaa' and Bahiyya," "The Curse," "Taming the Man," "The Truth Named Salem," "Sleeping in Honey," "Land of Fear," "Girls' Love," "Fish Tail," "You're My Life," "The Island," and "Ahlam and Salman," as well as "Tita Rahiba."

In television drama, his most famous series include "The Escape," "Moment of Choice," "The Story of Dr. Masoud," "Al-Mashrabiya," "Heart Without Tears," "Mohammed, Messenger of God," "Messenger of Humanity," "Thugs But Poets," "Al-Wassiyah," "Al-Saqut Fi Bi'r Sab'a," "Al-Zaini Barakat," and "I Will Not Live in My Father's Galabeya," in which he played one of his most prominent roles, still remembered by the audience and on social media to this day.

In addition to his roles in series such as "Al-Hawi," "Omar ibn Abdulaziz," "Years of Anger," "Al-Sira Al-Hilaliya," "The Adventures of the Next Century," "We Do Not Sow Thorns," "Zefti Republic," and "Al-Sira Al-Hilaliya," and "When the Flattery Is Over," "Awan Al-Ward," "Harat Al-Moez," "Goha El Masry," "Princess in Abdeen," "Aunt Nour," "Al-Tarek," "Our Days," "Blood and Fire," "A Woman's Journey," "The 1001 Agent," "The Egyptian Woman," "King Farouk," "Who Shot Hind Allam," and "My Heart is My Guide," "The Fall of the Caliphate," and "Exiled Queen," "The Blind Cat," and "The Group."

Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra's experience with Disney is one of the most prominent during his artistic career. He dubbed several cartoon films in Arabic, including some of Walt Disney's famous films, and left his mark by voicing the character Scar in the animated film "The Lion King," which was considered better than the original performance, as well as Jafar in "Aladdin."
